After a night of thunderstorms, the refreshed air welcomed 20 Volunteers who joined together with Chief of Staff Ramon Gomez of Supervisor Hernandez' office Hildalisa Murillo, Mayor Orosco, Cal Fire and Michelle Wright of Pitch In to clean up around the Struve Slough.
Many pedestrians who enjoy walking the paths along this jewel of our community which offers a close up view of the water fowl that frequent this area also joined in.
Cal Fire was represented by Ret. Captain and Pajaro Valley Board Chair Dave Martone.
Beer Bottles, diapers, cigarette butts, needles, lots of plastics, and misc. trash was eliminated. In total, more than 4.5 yards of litter were cleaned up!!
