On a beautiful, warm morning while listening to early spring bird song, a handful of volunteers met at Mesa Village Park to clean up litter. The Park is a hive of activity for the Mesa Village neighborhood, and is a wonderful place for kids and families, but litter undermines the healthy use of the park.

Volunteers from Watsonville Works, Pajaro Valley Fire, Corralitos Women’s Club, Birding Club, Pitch In, and Supervisor Hernandez’s office joined together to walk the new county installed sidewalks along Green Valley Road to remove litter and give back to the community.
